About Lauren Calvin Cooke

Lauren holds a B.A. in Theology and Ministry from Lipscomb University with a concentration in Youth Ministry; M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary; and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Religious Education at Emory University, focusing on Youth Ministry.

Lauren has a blog where she provides wonderful suggestions for healthy youth ministry practices. Here’s one of my favorite posts of hers.

  1. Love the idea that God loves diversity with regard to what we call handicaps…. interesting take on this story that we have heard forever. Really nice too get a deeper appreciation of scripture by looking at it in a different unique way. Thanks for this study and all of the resources you have pulled in to illuminate the scriptures even more. Spiritual growth is probably the most important quality we carry into the kingdom for eternity.

    1. Thanks Joe! I really enjoyed Lauren’s perspectives. The next several weeks will be really great.
