Conversation Highlights

Analysis of Crucifixion (Corpus Hypercubus) by Salvador Dalí

In her explanation of John’s unique view of the crucifixion, Kindy references this work by Salvador Dalí. It’s a unique interpretation of the crucifixion scene, to be sure.

Created in 1954, this is a nontraditional, surrealist portrayal of the Crucifixion of Jesus, depicting Jesus on the polyhedron net of a tesseract. It is one of the better-known pieces from Dalí’s later works.
